Our Purpose
Growing together in the love of God
To be a community of faith where every person counts, growing together in the love of God and sharing hope with our community.
To live an authentic faith through worship, biblical teaching, and a community that walks alongside others, serves, and welcomes all.

Our Values
A faith lived with love and welcome

Our History
Rooted in south San Antonio
Emmanuel Presbyterian Church began in 1945 in south San Antonio as a mission of Central Presbyterian Church. Its original location was in a small neighborhood on Teresa Street and later moved to our current location at 713 Division Ave.
Many of Emmanuel's members are second- and third-generation descendants of the founding families, and a rich heritage of culture and tradition lives on within the congregation.
Leadership
Leadership Team
The dedicated men and women currently serving are Christina Burato (Clerk of Session), Matthew Guerrero(Buildings and Grounds), Ron Grier (Worship), Matthew Guerrero Deedee Santos (Christian Education), Jon Ortiz (Evangelism).

Rev. Frank Vasquez, MAA, MDiv. I was born and raised in southeastern Colorado, moved to San Antonio, Texas in 2000, and have never looked back! What I love most about EPC is the family-like love and the welcoming of strangers! When I left here after my first visit, I didn't feel like a stranger. I felt like I belonged here! My favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope."
We deeply appreciate your wise and dedicated leadership.
